What are you reading [comic-wise, naturally]? I’ve been reading Zagor, The Spirit with the Hatchet, the invincible
avenger of Darkwood, but in Serbian. It’s big here in the
ex-Yugoslavian lands.
The comic shop that always makes me late for sound check: I am never late for sound checks…but I live just near Rue Keller in Paris, and the neighborhood is full of shops for Manga and bandes dessinĂ©es.
This time next year, I hope to be working on the soundtrack to major motion picture adaptation of which comic: In my frightening vision, it would be a 5 hour treatment of Jim Woodring’s Frank series.
Assorted Posies-related comic fun facts:
-While making our first album, Failure in 1987-1988 I was reading Watchmen pretty much the whole time.
-Jon [Auer] used to be quite a collector.
-One day here in Paris I was in a cafe and fell into a conversation with some young women, Americans, and after some time discovered I was talking to Sophie Crumb. She mumbled her last name in an intensely shy fashion. Cute!
